    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>IDEAL Pediatric Hospitalist-Newborn Nursery OPPORTUNITY!</strong><strong>Belmont (Charlotte Metro Region), North Carolina</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced full-time Pediatrician, to play a leadership role in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level-I Nursery, at <strong>CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont</strong> which is scheduled to open beginning of 2025</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About the Practice</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year</li>\n <li>An average daily census of about 5 newborns</li>\n <li>Pediatric Hospitalist  will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home</li>\n <li>Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care</li>\n</ul>\n<p>°The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs/Pediatric Hospitlaist with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care at <strong>CaroMont Regional Medical Center- Gastonia</strong>, which is only 7 miles away</p>\n<p>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hospital Information</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Belmont Medical Center, is located just 15 miles from uptown Charlotte and 8 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, which has <u>non-stop</u> flights to over 180 destinations</li>\n <li>CaroMont Health has been recognized with numerous awards, including being named one of Thomson Reuters’ Top 100 Hospital</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About Belmont</strong></p>\n<p>With its close proximity to Charlotte, Belmont allows visitors to take advantage of big-city amenities while enjoying a comfortable stay in a place with small-city charm.
