See more at com/careers/why-work-for-us/benefits</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Make safety the #1 priority in the office, on the shop floor, at the dock, and offshore.</li>\n <li>Perform offshore testing of AUV systems to support engineering development, acceptance testing, and customer operations.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot AUV issues and collaborate with other engineering groups to quickly resolve problems.</li>\n <li>Detailed record keeping and reporting of daily offshore activities.</li>\n <li>Oversee and maintain a fleet of asset AUV systems as well as the GDMS research vessel the R/V Resolution.</li>\n <li>Lead customer training courses on the operation and maintenance of AUV systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you bring to the table:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong technical skills in software, electronics, and mechanical troubleshooting, as well as a knack for hands-on repair and maintenance.</li>\n <li>Ability to quickly learn new software (AUV operations suite, sonar tools, etc.)</li>\n <li>Data processing and analysis skills</li>\n <li>Strong communication and technical report writing</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time (most travel assignments range between 1-3 weeks in length)</li>\n <li>Able to pass the requirements for a US Coast Guard physical examination CG-719K. https://www.dco.uscg.mil/Portals/9/NMC/pdfs/faq/med_cert_faq.pdf</li>\n <li>Able to obtain a Massachusetts 1B Hoisting Engineer's License within the first 6 months of employment.</li>\n <li>Able to carry substantial weight, support extended work hours, and work in a wide range of weather conditions.</li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Workplace Options:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position is 95% on-site with an option to work from home on some days.</li>\n <li>While on-site, you will be a part of the Quincy, Massachusetts</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Note</h2>This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
