This role involves working within live rail environments, undertaking vegetation clearance and tree works as part of a skilled and professional team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Upminister</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Employment Type:</span> Full time, Permanent</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>From £125 a day dependent on experience</li>\n<li>Weekly pay<br></li>\n<li>Life Assurance scheme </li>\n<li>Auto enrolment pension scheme.  </li>\n<li>Friendly working environment as part of a growing successful Group. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertake chainsaw operations, including maintenance, cross-cutting, and felling small trees up to 380mm in accordance with NPTC certification</li>\n<li>Carry out vegetation clearance activities, including strimming, hedge cutting, and brush cutting</li>\n<li>Work safely within live rail environments in line with site-specific risk assessments and rail standards</li>\n<li>Assist with site set-up, clearance, and safe working zones</li>\n<li>Maintain tools, plant, and equipment in safe working condition</li>\n<li>Support Team Leaders and Supervisors in delivering work to programme and quality standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Experience and Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sentinel (valid sponsorship required)</li>\n<li>Basic Track Awareness</li>\n<li>NPTC – Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting</li>\n<li>NPTC – Felling Small Trees up to 380mm</li>\n<li>Hedge Trimmer (including long-arm hedge trimmer)</li>\n<li>Brushcutter / Strimmer</li>\n<li>Chainsaw Pole Pruner</li>\n<li>Proven experience in vegetation and tree works within a rail or infrastructure environment</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of safe systems of work</li>\n<li>Full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points</li>\n</ul>",
