    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a <strong>Project Manager</strong> for our <strong>Cincinnati&nbsp;</strong>office to be part of our <strong>water/wastewater treatment</strong> team. As part of our design and process teams, you will be involved with a wide range of wastewater infrastructure projects. for water, wastewater, and stormwater management.</li><li>We foster a work environment low on bureaucracy and high in creativity.</li><li>We recruit talented professionals, provide them with challenging, interesting, and creative assignments, and furnish them with the tools they need to succeed.</li><li>We currently have over 2,000 employees in 70+ offices throughout the United States, Latin America, Canada, and the UK.</li><li>A flexible hybrid work schedule supports today&#39;s busy professionals.&nbsp;</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Developing technical treatment strategies, selecting treatment processes, developing process design criteria, and delivering projects.</li><li>Direct coordination and collaboration with clients.</li><li>Coordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery.</li><li>Evaluate progress of the project staff and results obtained and recommend changes to achieve overall project objective.</li><li>Planning, design, permitting, and construction of water and wastewater-related projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience managing interdisciplinary teams to effectively meet the client&rsquo;s needs.</li><li>Task responsibilities will include project management, preparation of assessment and design reports, performing design calculations, equipment sizing/selection, preparation of construction documents, and support needs for construction management/commissioning.&nbsp;</li><li>Candidate shall be capable of supervising junior staff and assisting in their career development and providing opportunities for growth.</li><li>Fieldwork and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travel.</li><li>Candidate shall also be able to lead business development activities including preparation of proposals and presentations.&nbsp;</li><li>The position will lead to an increasing level of client development and management commensurate with experience, supported by our local office and firm-wide technical resources.</li><li>Business development activities including making site visits to pre-position for projects, participating in proposal preparation and project interviews, developing scope, schedule, and budget for approved pursuits, and leading pursuits for water and wastewater projects.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in civil, environmental, chemical or mechanical engineering</li><li>A current PE license (Ohio preferred or ability to obtain within six months of employment)</li><li>10+ years of experience in the field of water and/or wastewater-related infrastructure, including project management (planning, design, and construction)</li><li>Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams&nbsp;</li><li>Proficient in all MS Office based computer software&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies&nbsp;</li><li>Self-starter with attention to detail&nbsp;</li><li>Strong organizational skills&nbsp;</li><li>Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Advanced degree (Master&rsquo;s or Doctorate) in civil or environmental engineering</li><li>Experience managing projects with fees of $10M or more</li><li>Experience negotiating multiple contracts with clients</li><li>Experience recruiting staff</li><li>Engagement in professional society leadership roles</li><li>Familiarity with CADD, GIS, Revit, and other engineering software</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, and prescription plans)</li><li>Pre-tax flexible spending plans for medical, dependent care, and transportation</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Short and long-term disability, and employer paid life insurance</li><li>Paid holidays, floating holidays, and paid time off (PTO)</li><li>Employer-contributed 401(k) plan and additional financial planning support</li><li>Professional growth opportunities, including tuition reimbursement, in-house training, and incentives for professional registration and professional organization memberships</li><li>Starting pay range for this position depends on skills, experience, education and geographical location</li></ul></div></div>\n",
