If you are interested in growth opportunities that are second to none in the industry and making a difference in the lives of people in our community, this position is right for you!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Flexible hours available for full time for</strong> d<strong>ay and on-call.</strong></p>\n<p>Normal hours for this position is full time benefit eligible Monday through Friday from 08:30 am 05:00 and on-call situations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental and Vision insurance</li>\n <li>Life insurance</li>\n <li>Short Term and Long Disability</li>\n <li>401(k) retirement savings plan with company match</li>\n <li>FSA and HSA</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n <li>Growth Opportunities</li>\n <li>Paid time off</li>\n <li>8 Paid annual holidays</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment which may involve plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical equipment repair or similar.</li>\n <li>Act as back-up for call person in case of emergency, respond timely and appropriately.</li>\n <li>Handle all equipment in a safe manner to prevent accidents and demonstrate good working knowledge of tools and their safe use.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner.</li>\n <li>Follow preventive maintenance schedule / instruction and complete reports, as requested.</li>\n <li>Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, test/start generator once a week and maintain equipment; inspect and maintain fire alarm system to include testing system, fire doors, audible alarms, visible alarms(lights) and smoke detectors and record data on appropriate forms as required by state or facility; check condition and readiness of extinguishers monthly; inspect and maintain lighting system throughout facility.</li>\n <li>Inspect and maintain plumbing system, replace or repair faucets, toilet stools, urinals, traps, drains, basins and bathtubs, as needed; repair or refinishe furniture in rooms, offices and dining room as needed.</li>\n <li>Manage the activities involved in the maintenance of facilities and equipment</li>\n <li>Responsible for building operations including structural maintenance.</li>\n <li>Responsible for regulatory and building code compliance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>OTHER FUNCTIONS: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Experience in maintenance or facility operations required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools in the general building/maintenance trades preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WELRC</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position requires a Level 2 Background Screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
