Technician<br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting to the Group IT Director - Infrastructure &amp; Security, the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">IT Technician</span> is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organizations local and regional technological infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assists in system maintenance and upgrades, and offers user support and training.  The role involves collaborating with internal teams and ensuring the efficient operation of hardware, software, and networks.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. </em></li>\n<li><em>Utilize the Manage Engine suite of tools to monitor, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure. </em><em>management. </em><em> </em></li>\n<li><em>Document and maintain accurate records of IT support activities and resolutions. </em></li>\n<li><em>Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed. </em></li>\n<li><em>Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics. </em></li>\n<li><em>Responding promptly to IT queries and issues. </em></li>\n<li><em>Assisting in installation configurating, and maintenance of IT equipment. </em></li>\n<li><em>Possibly participate in local Business improvement meetings to report and synchronize systems enhancements requirements to the Global IT team</em></li>\n<li><em> System maintenance and upgrades</em></li>\n<li><em>Conduct routine checks to ensure secure and efficient system operation.  </em><em> </em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em> User assistance and training</em></li>\n<li><em>Providing guidance to users </em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em> Collaboration and Teamwork</em></li>\n<li><em>Working with the global IT team to resolve complex issues and contribute to projects. </em><em> </em></li>\n<li><em>Other duties as required. </em></li>\n</ul>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You'll Bring:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills and Competencies:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Demonstrated experience working with operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, software </em></li>\n<li><em>Applications, and networking. </em></li>\n<li><em>Proven track record in providing technical support and troubleshooting IT issues efficiently and effectively.</em></li>\n<li><em>Experience in assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment </em><em>and systems. </em></li>\n<li><em>Experience with Windows operating systems. </em></li>\n<li><em>Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and software.</em></li>\n<li><em>Familiarity with Business Central or SAP business processes is considered a plus</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree or diploma in IT or a related field</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary</li>\n<li>100% employer-paid medical and dental benefits</li>\n<li>Retirement savings plan with employer contributions up to 6%</li>\n<li>Dynamic team within a high-growth company</li>\n<li>Company events and team-building activities</li>\n<li>Ongoing training and professional development opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Candidates will be required to undergo a background and reference check prior to hiring.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Please note that <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Smardt</span> does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies.
