The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Dubuque</strong></p>\n<p>For over 130 years, Finley Hospital has been an integral part of the greater Dubuque community. As the first hospital in Dubuque, Finley has a long tradition of providing compassionate, quality health care in the communities we serve. Finley grew from a physician–led residential facility to a 126-bed, fully accredited hospital, and now, to a regional healthcare system that includes not only hospital services, but clinic and home services as well.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hospitalist schedule is 7on/7off with 12-hour shifts (this role is as needed, PRN) </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>12-hour shifts; 7a-7p</li>\n  <li>Each shift staffed with 2 Physicians and 1 APP rounding providers with 1 dedicated admitter from 10-7 pm</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Team of 6 Physicians and 2 APPs</li>\n <li>No overnight shifts</li>\n <li>Epic EMR</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Procedures optional</li>\n <li>Hospitalist is code leader</li>\n <li>Average patient census of 15-17 patients</li>\n <li>Admission support between 0700-1000 in round robin sequence, majority of admissions goes to dedicated admitter</li>\n <li>Blocked scheduling</li>\n <li>UnityPoint employed Telehospitalist cover overnights</li>\n <li>Excellent work/life balance</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>MD or DO</li>\n <li>Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine </li>\n <li>Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa</li>\n <li>Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice</li>\n <li>Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)</li>\n <li>J-1 waiver sponsorship available via HHS waiver process</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>We offer</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Shift based compensation </li>\n <li>A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in. </li>\n <li>CME allowance, malpractice insurance, retirement contributions and more </li>\n <li>Dedicated provider resources to positively impact providers work-life balance</li>\n <li>A commitment to ensuring you have a voice that is heard regardless of role, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. </li>\n <li>Support and development opportunities that are a crucial part of delivering a remarkable employment experience. </li>\n <li>A culture guided by uncompromising values and unwavering belief in doing what’s right for the people we serve.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Community Details</strong></p>\n<p>The community of Dubuque has grown into a city with small-town roots.
