This exciting opportunity will give the successful candidate the <br>opportunity to work with national clients on exciting projects. The successful applicant will be <br>reporting to the department manager and will be based out of our London office. <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Do</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>• Leading and setting up survey projects.<br>• Undertaking various types of surveys sessions using a variety of specialised equipment <br>and technology<br>• Working with modern survey methods and survey devices such as total stations, GNSS <br>and data collectors.<br>• Establishing survey controls, setting out gridlines, levelling, traversing and other land <br>surveying work.<br>• Recording surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed <br>specification and scope<br>• Processing data from the field into the office, post processing with software, such as <br>AutoCAD<br>• Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments.<br>• Ensuring that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.<br>• Delivering to company policies, procedures, standards and best practices.<br>• Working with the Project Manager to assist with quoting for jobs.<br>• Any other duties as required by the business.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Bring</span></span></p>\n<p><br>• At least 3 years’ experience delivering land surveys.<br>• A relevant degree/ qualification in surveying or a related discipline, however, <br>candidates with suitable skills and proven experience will also be considered<br>• Competent user of survey instrumentation – GPS, Total Stations &amp; 3D scanner<br>• Competent user of 2D / 3D AutoCAD<br>• Experience of Cyclone / Similar scanning software<br>• Fluent in written and spoken English.<br>• Experience of working to high safety standards.<br>• Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel.<br>• Knowledge of role related post-processing software.<br>• Strong technical knowledge.<br>• An ambition to learn and develop.<br>• Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">K</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ey Attributes</span></p>\n<p><br>• Ability to work as part of a team or independently, follow instructions and be<br>innovative.<br>• Excellent communication skills<br>• Assist in the mentoring of junior/ assistant level staff.<br>• Leadership skills<br>• Ability to work well under pressure.<br></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits You Will Love</span></span></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span>At Murphy Geospatial – A Woolpert Company, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative team where your expertise makes a real impact.
