    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>YOUR PASSION, ACTIONS & FOCUS is our Strength</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Become one of our Contributors</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Join the Caretria Team!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p>\n<p>Under the direction of the Pharmacy Supervisor/Manager, the Eagle Pharmacy Technician is responsible for processing prescriptions, preparing orders according to client specifications, and is responsible for other duties assigned.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.</li>\n <li>Verify information on prescriptions received prior to processing (correct prescriber, name of patient, patient information, medication, dose, quantity, number of refills, lot, and expiration date).</li>\n <li>Accountable for checking patient history for any duplicate orders and follow the proper procedures.</li>\n <li>Follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.</li>\n <li>Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain all records including prescription logs and related files</li>\n <li>Perform follow up on all outstanding prescriptions/authorizations and communicate discrepancies to pharmacist or appropriate leadership.</li>\n <li>Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and orderly work site.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS</u>:</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Registered Technician with Florida Board of Pharmacy in good standing</li>\n <li>Certified Pharmacy Technician in good standing preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of one year pharmacy experience preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge of medical terminology, brand and generic names of medications, and general pharmacy terminology</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One (1) year of previous specialty pharmacy technician experience with exposure to fulfillment of prescription orders</li>\n <li>Nationally certified through the PTCB or another approved certifying agency</li>\n <li>Inventory or logistics control experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving and organization skills</li>\n <li>Ability to learn from a variety of techniques</li>\n <li>Ability to follow established process flows</li>\n <li>Basic math skills</li>\n <li>Ability to recognize subtle differences in names and numbers</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in highly stressful situations, exhibiting flexibility in changing situations</li>\n <li>Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numerals), brand and generic names of medications, and general pharmacy terminology</li>\n <li>Computer literacy to include operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, presentation software, communication and collaboration tools, and Adobe PDF or comparable</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u> </u></strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Location of job activities 100% inside</li>\n <li>Noise and / or vibrations exposure</li>\n <li>Reaching (overhead), handling, and feeling</li>\n <li>Stand, bend, stoop and sit for prolonged periods of time</li>\n <li>Lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p>This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting and standing in front of a computer. This position may be required to work long hours.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The expected base pay range for this position is $17 per hour. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule. In addition to base pay, CareTria offers a comprehensive benefits package.
