    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Cummings Electrical is hiring an Electrical Apprentice Lead for our Fabrication deparment at our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC’s and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.</p>\n<p>As part of our team, you will work hands-on in a fast-paced, innovative environment, helping reduce jobsite risks, accelerate project timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions. If you are looking for growth, meaningful work, and a chance to be part of a team shaping the future of off-site integration and manufacturing, this is the place to make an impact!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead daily Assembly operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.</li>\n <li>Assign and coordinate work based on production priorities, labor availability, and technician skill levels.</li>\n <li>Support production schedules across Large Construction, Service, and IM Production projects.</li>\n <li>Perform and oversee hands-on electrical prefabrication assembly work, including racks, panels, conduit assemblies, skids, enclosures, lighting assemblies, and other custom products.</li>\n <li>Provide technical guidance on layout, measuring, mounting, wire routing, labeling, and assembly practices.</li>\n <li>Ensure assemblies are built according to drawings, specifications, shop standards, and quality expectations.</li>\n <li>Inspect in-process and completed assemblies for accuracy, workmanship, completeness, and compliance with production requirements.</li>\n <li>Identify and resolve assembly errors, material issues, and quality concerns to minimize rework and delays.</li>\n <li>Train and mentor Manufacturing Technicians on assembly methods, safety procedures, tool usage, and workmanship standards.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with Welding, CNC, Engraving, Paint, Logistics, and Project Coordination teams to maintain production flow and material readiness.</li>\n <li>Communicate production status, bottlenecks, shortages, and schedule risks to leadership in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Promote and enforce safe work practices, PPE usage, housekeeping, and organized work areas.</li>\n <li>Support tool, equipment, and material readiness for daily production activities.</li>\n <li>Track production progress, labor utilization, and completion status while supporting continuous improvement efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in electrical prefabrication, manufacturing, assembly, or commercial electrical construction required.</li>\n <li>Active Texas Apprentice Electrician License or Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR) required.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of electrical assemblies, conduit systems, supports, panels, and related prefabrication processes.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts, specifications, and production documents.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and shop equipment.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate workflow, and maintain production schedules in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of quality control, workmanship standards, and production efficiency.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of safe work practices, PPE requirements, and material handling procedures.</li>\n <li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to train and mentor less experienced team members.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift materials, work on your feet, and perform physical assembly tasks in a manufacturing/shop environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Supplemental Insurance: Accident & Critical Illness</li>\n <li>FSA</li>\n <li>401K & ROTH 401K</li>\n <li>Paid Time Of</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Employment at Cummings is subject to background check and drug screen; must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.</p>",
