This position is accountable for securing the property, loss prevention, assisting guests and employees, responding to incidents, medical emergencies, and lost and found items.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Principal Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>These include, but are not limited to:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Respond to calls</strong>: Respond to calls from on-duty staff, guests, visitors, customers, employees, and tenants. Immediately respond to situations that occur on property. Disperse disorderly individuals. If necessary, call Law Enforcement with all incidents involving criminal activity. Must be able to safely operate a motorized vehicle.</li><li><strong>Patrols assigned area</strong>: Discourage disruptive or disorderly behavior in a non-aggressive manner. Be aware of hazards to the resort and report them immediately. Foot patrol the entire resort and HarborWalk Village/Marina areas.</li><li><strong>Perform various public relations activities:&nbsp;</strong>Assists owners, guests, visitors, and employees with any problems within appropriate guidelines. Assisting in locating lost vehicle, missing person(s), provide medical care/assistance up to the appropriate level of training. Providing escorts to vehicle or other locations on property.</li><li><strong>Performs various tenant relations activities:</strong> Conducts walk through of tenant space to assist in the deterrence of criminal activity, such as shoplifting, walking tenant employee(s) to vehicle. Distribute correspondence to tenants from the various management staff (Association Manger, Marketing). Periodically contact tenant personnel to establish good working relations.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Communication of incidents and activities occurring on property:&nbsp;</strong> Immediately notify the Manager of Safety and Security of all major incidents/situations that may cause a negative reflection on the company. Accurately complete various incident, accident, personal injury, and other reports for all situations that occur on property in accordance with policy. Must be able to use a two-way radio properly.</li><li><strong>Ensures Routine Equipment Maintenance:&nbsp;</strong> Performs proper accountability, safety, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance checks of all equipment.</li><li><strong>Respond to Request for Support and/or Assistance:&nbsp;</strong>Provide support and/or assistance to all departments, co-workers, owners, guest, visitors, and tenants of Emerald Grande and HarborWalk Village as tasked by management. Contribute 100% to the total team effort to implement projects or special events, and achieve or exceed management&#39;s goals.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Prefer someone with experience in warehouse/logistics operations (within a similar organization, the military, and FedEx/UPS or retail stores).</p><p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><strong>Language Skills &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. &nbsp;Ability to write simple correspondence. &nbsp;Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.</p><p><strong>Mathematical Skills &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong></p><p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. &nbsp;Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</p><p><strong>Reasoning Ability &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. &nbsp; Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</p><p><strong><u>Other Qualifications</u></strong></p><p><strong>Availability&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village is open and operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Employees are required to be available to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays. The expected shift schedule for this position is 11:00 p.m. to 7 a.m.</p><p><strong>License Requirements</strong></p><p>Valid driver&rsquo;s license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Rules and Regulations</strong></p><p>All employees must adhere to all safety rules and regulations required by local, State and Federal authorities, wear the appropriate personal protective equipment necessary to perform the job in a safe manner and will follow all safety rules per the Company&rsquo;s Safety Policy.</p><p><strong>Language Skills</strong></p><p>Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.</p><p><strong>Physical Demands&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
