Veraxx has a high level of expertise in flight simulation hardware and software development, as well as computer architecture, tactical environments, interoperability (HLA/DIS), avionics systems, and real-time embedded systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Veraxx is the OEM for the Marine Corps aircrew flight simulation interoperability network and tactical environments. Veraxx has just won several long-term contracts to develop and upgrade domestic and international flight and aircrew training systems. We are currently looking for a Simulation Technician Intern.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Duration of internship June - August.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The intern will be given hands on tasks and will participate as a part of the team</li>\n <li>The intern will gain practical experience electrical & mechanical assembly & troubleshooting, including lab setup, cable labeling, rack buildup, and cable manufacturing, hardware QA, technical documentation, and facilities modification</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Experience/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>HS Diploma</li>\n <li>Ability to work as a member of a technical team to complete complex software and systems projects</li>\n <li>A strong interest and curiosity in electrical and mechanical assembly, AutoCAD, and avionics</li>\n <li>Self motivated team player with a strong desire to learn</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Requirements/Security Clearance</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Candidates must be able to receive a DOD clearance</li>\n</ul>",
