Toilet won’t stop running? Lawn flooding? You’re a plumbing detective! You’ll be the one to get to the bottom of plumbing problems, fixing things the right way so customers don’t have to worry about a thing.</li>\n <li><strong>Address customer concerns and make sure they know they’re in good hands!</strong> Plumbing problems are scary, especially when you don’t know what’s going on. You’re a hero! Not only will you make sure the plumbing problems are taken care of, but you’ll help customers understand the process and feel good about their decision to trust Morris-Jenkins.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Hand off larger repairs to plumbing installers. </strong>You can focus on the things you do best and leave the big, time-consuming installs (water heater replacements, re-pipes, etc.) to the plumbing installation team. Check out our awards here: Working at Morris-Jenkins Heating, Air, Plumbing, and Electrical | Top Workplaces</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Work should be something you’re excited about every day.</p>\n<p>​</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Ready to love your job?</p>\n<p>Submit your application online today!</p>\n<p><strong>The Super-Fun HR Stuff</strong></p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Service Plumber:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, filtration, gas lines, gas logs, and drain cleaning</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of drain machines, camera and locator equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic computer skills</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS for Service Plumbers:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid North Carolina Plumbing Contractor (P1 or P2)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid North Carolina Journeyman license</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid South Carolina LLR Plumbing Contractor License</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid South Carolina MASC Master Plumber Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Morris-Jenkins is located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
