          "text": "<p>The AECOM Indiana Transportation team is seeking a<strong><u> Bridge Project Design Engineer III</u></strong> to join our growing structural and transportation group located in Indianapolis, IN. This role will support the planning, analysis, design, and rehabilitation of bridges and related transportation structures across a variety of public-sector projects.</p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Perform structural analysis and design of bridges and transportation structures in accordance with AASHTO and state DOT standards</li><li>Prepare engineering calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports</li><li>Assist in the development of rehabilitation and maintenance recommendations for existing structures</li><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including roadway, geotechnical, and construction engineering staff</li><li>Review contractor submittals and provide construction support services as needed</li><li>Ensure quality control and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and agency guidelines</li><li>Develop and implement innovative bridge design solutions to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness</li><li>Participate in the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential projects</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on bridge engineering projects</li><li>Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in bridge engineering and design</li><li>Collaborate with environmental specialists to ensure bridge designs meet sustainability and ecological requirements</li><li>Perform load rating analyses for new and existing bridges to determine their structural capacity</li><li>Assist in the development of bridge management systems and maintenance strategies.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong><u>Minimum Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>BA/BS plus a minimum of 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education</li><li>PE license in Indiana or ability to obtain a PE within 1 year.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master of Science or Master of Engineering)</li><li>Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., MIDAS, Leap Bridge Concrete, or similar)</li><li>Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools such as OpenRoads/OpenBridge Designer or MicroStation</li><li>Strong understanding of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Familiarity with DOT design procedures and standards</li></ul>",
