Come join Arcwood and be part of our legacy of environmental leadership!</p>\n<h2>Essential Functions & Responsibilities </h2>\n<p><strong>Truck Driver, Over-the-Road (Containers)</strong><strong></strong>The Truck Driver, Over-the-Road (Containers) drives and operates semi-vans with sleeper and straight trucks as required. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times</li>\n <li>Completes sequential routes as scheduled with assistance from the Customer Experience Representative and the Transport dispatcher; maximizes the volume of drums picked up on a single route</li>\n <li>Prior to driving transportation equipment/vacuum trucks, prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent operating order</li>\n <li>Completes manifests, Company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed; inspects all drums/containers on loads to ensure that they have the proper labels and markings</li>\n <li>Maintains logbook for DOT compliance and State and Federal regulations</li>\n <li>Drives to the customer site to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material to facility for unloading and disposal</li>\n <li>Acts as Company representative with courtesy towards every customer</li>\n <li>Loads freight and may handle drums</li>\n <li>Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education </h2>- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required)</li>\n <li>Hazmat endorsement (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity</h2>Arcwood offers stability you can count on and opportunities to grow.
