    "description_html": "<p>The Great Escape Room is looking for a Handyman/ Carpenter to join our team at our workshop in Longwood, FL. This position is a 6 month temporary position.  The position entails assisting in constructing our props for our experiences. The ideal candidate will have a sense of how to use basic tools, follow directions and possibly traveling for days at a time.  </p><p><br><b>DUTIES</b><br>-Assist our workshop crew implementing our prefabricated rooms at our locations across the country<br>-Repair broken parts, pieces, puzzles, props on site if damaged in transit<br>-Safely use hand and power tools<br>-Maintain clean and functional work space<br>-Collaborate with the team to work safely on the projects</p><p><b>SKILLS NEEDED:</b><br>-Basic carpentry skills including using, drills, and hand tools.<br>-Finished Carpentry Skills - sanding and painting/ staining<br>-Rough Carpentry Skills - building an interior wall<br>-Be able to read & understand tape measures & levels<br>-Must be able to follow instructions and processes<br>-Must be able to work as part of a team<br>- Ability to paint interior spaces and props with latex and spray paints is strongly preferred<br>-Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines<br>-Must be reliable<br><br>This position requires you to work from our Longwood, FL workshop.  </p><p>Salary: $20 per hour</p><p>*Additional Stipulations: The Great Escape Room will pay for the travel costs and living accommodations of our crew (usually via vehicular transportation, but sometimes air travel is necessary) for the project installs. </p>",
