We are hiring a Maintenance Technician for Bay Apartments in San Diego, CA , offering $23–$25/hr plus up to $3,000 in annual customer service bonuses and a 50% rent discount valued at $5,000+ per year.
AIR Communities equips Maintenance Technicians with industry-leading technology, organized shops, and structured processes so you can complete more work orders efficiently without sacrificing quality. Whether you're turning apartments for new move-ins or troubleshooting service requests, you'll stay busy, supported, and challenged every day.

Deliver high-quality service to residents with a focus on first-time fix and customer satisfaction Complete apartment turns efficiently to meet move-in deadlines Diagnose and repair issues across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general carpentry Support preventative maintenance efforts to reduce recurring service requests Mentor junior technicians or assist with training as needed Assist with vendor oversight and unit inspections when required #LI-RF1

2+ years of maintenance experience in apartments, commercial facilities, hotels, or skilled trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) Working knowledge in at least two core trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, or carpentry) Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently Willingness to work a flexible schedule including on-call rotations (approximately one week per month) Reliable transportation for emergency response Physically able to lift and move equipment Ability to read, write, and speak English

Candidates extended an offer will be required to undergo pre-employment screening that includes checking references, a four-panel drug screening that excludes marijuana testing, employment verification & criminal background check.
