The mission-critical solutions we design and manufacture at Vitesse make our country and our world safer.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Our Benefits</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>48 hours of Sick and Safe Leave</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>The primary responsibility of the Engineering Intern is to provide support to the Mechanical Engineers.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Design antenna test assemblies.</li><li>Design parts for laser welding coupon testing.</li><li>Design test setup for 3D printed shear strength.</li><li>Peer review specifications alongside responsible engineers.</li><li>Create FEA models.</li><li>Generate mockups for sales.</li><li>Review sales requirements and work with mechanical engineers to create compliance matrix.</li><li>Take mechanical engineer models and RF requirements to manufacturing engineering for review.</li><li>Create test component designs and drawings.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:49.5pt;\"><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar software.</li><li>Working knowledge of analysis software.</li><li>Familiarity with composite structural design.</li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including CNC machining and 3D Printing.</li><li>Experience assembling and delivering technical presentation to internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Project management skills, particularly with respect to delivering engineering content necessary to support the production process.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Vitesse Systems, LLC performs work controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
