AVS was established in the early 1980s, and our current facility was constructed in 1989.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, an in-hospital surgery suite, an in-house X-ray, updated dental unit with digital dental radiographs, heated surgical table, ultrasound, blood chemistry capabilities, and a closely supervised hospitalization area. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and quiet atmosphere for our clients and their four-legged friends.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As our industry demands more, AVS is ready to meet it. We are excited to offer walk-in/same-day appointments for both wellness and urgent care needs.</p>\n<h2>Position Purpose</h2>\n<p>Come extern with us!Heartland Veterinary Partners' Vet Tech Externship Program works to provide externship support for veterinary technician students. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Externship length & requirements are dependent upon your university.</p>\n<h2>Requirements/Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Eligibility</p>\n<p>Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Veterinary Technician School</p>",
