Join our team!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Build a growing book of profitable Private Client business</li>\n <li>Manage agency relationships and serve as lead client contact</li>\n <li>Provide a Best in Class customer service experience for our retail partners</li>\n <li>Execute on the national marketing strategy to increase new and renewal business</li>\n <li>Work within granted authority and program guidelines to underwrite submissions with a focus on creative solutions for complex insurance exposures</li>\n <li>Develop and submit underwriting referrals to company brokerage facilities and Burns & Wilcox management  </li>\n <li>Monitor key metrics and implement actions to improve practice group results in new business hit ratios, renewal retention, premium and income growth, and loss ratio</li>\n <li>Lead, train, and develop Assistant and Associate Underwriters</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience  </li>\n <li>Minimum 3 years of Personal insurance underwriting experience required, excess & surplus experience preferred</li>\n <li>Previous experience with private client carriers and clients is beneficial</li>\n <li>Proven written, verbal and analytical skills and ability to craft unique solutions to complex problems</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comfortable presenting to C-Level executives and clients</li>\n <li>Demonstrated proficiency in customer service, sales and marketing</li>\n <li>Proven organization skills and ability with a strong attention to detail and work ethic</li>\n <li>Interest in continued education and professional development; enrollment in the CPRIA designation curriculum will be expected upon hiring</li>\n <li>Insurance license, CPCU, CIC or comparable designations are beneficial</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Base compensation for position ranges between $85,000 to $125,000 based on qualifications</li>\n <li>Flexible and hybrid options</li>\n <li>Health benefits & 401K with employer match</li>\n <li>Employer paid continuing education courses and designations</li>\n <li>Many opportunities for career advancement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>About Our Company</h2>\n<p>Burns & Wilcox, the flagship organization of H.W.
