We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in managing client accounts and delivering a mix of public affairs and strategic communication activities, with a strong focus on healthcare and life sciences policies.</p>\n<p>We value flexibility and professionalism. In return, we offer a truly collegial working environment and the opportunity to meet the high standards our clients expect.</p>\n<p>The level of seniority (Consultant or Senior Consultant) will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role and responsibilities</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Under the guidance of directors/partners, your tasks will include:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serving as the main point of contact for several Healthcare &amp; Life sciences clients and demonstrating confidence built on prior experience;</li>\n<li>Managing key accounts, including oversight of budgets and client deliverables;</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing, with the support of directors/partners, strategic positions  for clients;</li>\n<li>Proactively gathering intelligence, monitoring developments and analysing EU policies and legislation;</li>\n<li>Ensuring that services and daily tasks are delivered to the requisite standard;</li>\n<li>Depending on the seniority, supervising and providing guidance to junior colleagues, drawing on your previous line-management or mentoring experience;</li>\n<li>Growing your network in the EU healthcare “ecosystem”, both within the EU institutions and the broader stakeholder landscape;</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Attending external events and institutional meetings and reporting back with clear, actionable insights;</li>\n<li>Researching and drafting background notes and analyses;</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively contributing to new business and marketing efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and skills</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in a public affairs consultancy, EU institution, trade association, in-house public affairs team or other relevant professional environment;</li>\n<li>Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience working on EU health policies;</li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of the EU decision-making process and EU healthcare stakeholder environment. A solid institutional network in Brussels is a strong asset;</li>\n<li>Proven ability to gather relevant intelligence efficiently and in a timely manner;</li>\n<li>Strong research and analytical skills, as well as an ability to translate complex documents into concise, digestible formats;</li>\n<li>Great time management skills and ability to efficiently multi-task;</li>\n<li>Strong collaboration skills and a positive, can-do attitude;</li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
