Some of the benefits of joining our team are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Pay.</li>\n <li>Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K, profit sharing, generous PTO and paid holidays, uniforms, and much more.</li>\n <li>Exposure to world-class CAT training and development.</li>\n <li>A friendly and supportive work environment.</li>\n <li>Continuous exposure to learning and new technologies</li>\n <li>Opportunities for advancement</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC.</li>\n <li>Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.</li>\n <li>Use troubleshooting techniques to diagnose problem/ cause of failure. </li>\n <li>Remove/ disassemble and assemble/install components and parts.</li>\n <li>Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components. </li>\n <li>Test, measure, and adjust engine and machine systems and components.</li>\n <li>Interpret technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams to successfully complete tasks.</li>\n <li>Determine reusability of parts in accordance with published Caterpillar reusability guidelines.  </li>\n <li>Order replacement parts ensuring that orders are correct and complete.</li>\n <li>Clean, repair, recondition and maintain engines, generaors and components.</li>\n <li>Test, measure and adjust engine and power system components</li>\n <li>Prepare, inspect and operate machines prior to delivery. </li>\n <li>Keep up to date with developments in tooling, technologies and systems. </li>\n <li>Prepare inspection and appraisal reports, complete accurate service reports and other necessary reports and forms.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma required. </li>\n <li>Associates degree in related field, preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience diagnosing, testing and repairing marine application engines on pleasure and/or commercial crafts. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and proper repair procedures is required.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and can complete work with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated problem solving skills; detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.</li>\n <li>Proven customer service skills, able to work with a diverse customer base and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.</li>\n <li>Ability to set and keep priorities and professionally handle the stress associated with dealing with a fast-paced industry and deadlines.</li>\n <li>Strong written and oral communication skills are required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The physical environment requires the employee to work primarily outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.</li>\n <li>Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous materials.</li>\n <li>Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.</li>\n <li>Job requires working in confined spaces with limited ability to move around.</li>\n <li>Physical use of a broad variety of tools and machines in order to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift varied weight – up to 75lbs unassisted.</li>\n <li>Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Use of computer and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>",
