Mold Setter I

Job Description/Summary The mold setter is responsible for positioning and setting up molds for the manufacturing of products or components made of various materials. Essential Functions 1-3 years of experience setting up and operating mold injection equipment. Repairs and maintains machines, mold upgrades, remove auxiliary equipment using hand tools and power tools. Possess technical and mechanical skills to set and pull molds. Completes all paperwork and documentation. Must be proficient with calipers and other hand tools. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Able to follow instructions, excellent written and oral skills communicate with others, and follow safety procedures. Other duties as assigned. Competencies and Abilities Report to work on time every day and be at the assigned workstation on time. Must be able to communicate well with team and upper management. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements. Clear communication skills. Ability to follow documented procedures and standards. Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision. Able to follow instructions and safety procedures (wearing PPE).
