          "text": "<p>The Finance Controller is responsible for accurate and timely financial management reporting.&#xa0; They will provide high quality support to the business in all technical accounting, commercial, and investment related matters for the pharmaceutical line of business.&#xa0; This role will also work closely with Business Managers and must be capable of liaising with staff at all levels in the organization.</p><ul><li>Prepare accurate and timely financial and management results for the business in accordance with the&#xa0;Group Financial Manual</li><li>Ensure that the business is involved in the preparation/approval of the financial accounts and&#xa0;understands/has ownership over the final outcome.</li><li>Analyze actual results against budget/forecast/trend with explanation for variations and investigation of&#xa0;more complex issues such as incremental margins to present to senior management</li><li>Report month end results to parent company in Geneva using Hyperion Financial Management</li><li>Prepare the monthly forecast in conjunction with the Managers and ensuring outcomes are realistic and&#xa0;explained</li><li>Liaise with business sector managers to develop and review management reporting framework,&#xa0;identifying key business drivers and relevant KPIs</li><li>Prepare the monthly reporting package and business sector KPIs by working with operational managers&#xa0;to analyze outcomes and develop action plans to address issues</li><li>Work closely with the Managers in the development of annual operational and capital budgets</li><li>Conduct Finance review of bids and price and work closely with Business Development and Operations&#xa0;to reach agreement on submissions before being issued to the V.P (Business Unit).</li><li>Oversees billing and A/R, WIP and Unbilled receivables for the Business through her direct reports.</li><li>Assist operations in developing business and capex applications, challenging assumptions and gaining a&#xa0;full understanding of the operational requirements/outcomes</li><li>Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for nominated accounts to ensure integrity and</li><li>validation&#xa0;</li><li>Assist the business with any Legal, Treasury and Tax functions and Internal/External audit requirements&#xa0;as needed</li><li>Support continuous improvement and innovation within the team</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>A professional accounting designation</li><li>5+ years’ experience in commercial accounting</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)</li><li>Experience with Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management would be an asset</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong business acumen/business awareness with solid technical and analytical background and ability to interpret and analyze data.</li><li>Experience in accounting process design supporting strong internal controls and reconciliation practices</li><li>Experience in financial/KPI monitoring, with the ability to explain variance to target and implement ‘early warning’ indicator for adverse trends</li><li>Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines with a number of competing demands</li><li>Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations to different levels of management</li><li>Strong attention to detail with good organizational and inter-personal skills</li><li>Ability to coordinate and manage a department and its workload.</li><li>Capable of interacting with all levels of management, suppliers and clients.</li><li>Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.</li><li>Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health &amp; Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.</li><li>Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Travel</strong></p><ul><li>Occasional 5-10%</li></ul><p><strong><em>Our Benefits</em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Compensation: $80,000-$100,000/year CAD (based on experience)</strong></li><li><strong>Some benefit highlights:</strong><ul><li>80% coverage Health, Dental and Vision&#xa0;</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>RRSP Program Eligibility&#xa0;</li></ul></li></ul>",
