    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">As a member of the health center&rsquo;s integrated care team the Lead Behavioral Health Consultant will fulfill the following <u>KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u> towards the provision of patient-centered, coordinated patient care:&nbsp;</span></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain confidentiality of records related to patient treatment.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide mental health and substance abuse assessments.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Deliver individual, family, and group short-term therapy for children, teens, and adults.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Utilize evidence-based interventions such as CBT, MI, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Conduct screenings, brief counseling, and referrals for addictions treatment.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Develop and implement treatment plans; maintain clinical records in EMR.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Obtain and maintain insurance authorizations; follow documentation and billing requirements.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Collaborate with the medical team and other providers to coordinate patient care.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Refer patients/families to community resources and specialists as needed.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Manage patient crises; modify treatment activities and documentation to meet changing requirements.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Counsel families on supporting patients; monitor medication use and encourage collaboration with prescribers.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Stay informed on developments in counseling and health by reading, attending trainings, and networking.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Coordinate or lead workshops, courses, or trainings on behavioral health topics.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide leadership in integrated care team collaboration.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Meet productivity targets, including group therapy or supervision requirements.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Develop cultural competence to serve diverse populations, including refugees.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Clinically supervise non-independent licensed staff.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Approve documentation, time sheets, or notes when required.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Serve as primary contact in the Director&rsquo;s absence.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assist with new staff orientation and serve as subject matter expert.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide input on staff performance, training, and professional development.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Coordinate and facilitate monthly BH all-staff meetings.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide oversight of interns, ensuring appropriate supervision and integration into BH services.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Lead therapist onboarding and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Lead assigned behavioral health projects; track progress and report outcomes.</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">&nbsp;<strong><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</u>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
