    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Shifts Available: Days</p>\n<p>Employment Type: Full Time</p>\n<p>Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm </p>\n<p>Location: Southern Regional Medical Center; Riverdale, Georgia</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><u>Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare:</u></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health, dental, and vision insurance options</li>\n <li>Paid vacation, sick time and holidays</li>\n <li>Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options</li>\n <li>Employer 401K options</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement options </li>\n <li>Life, disability, and other insurance options</li>\n <li>Many other amazing benefits</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The Director of Med/Surg - Telemetry is a Registered Nurse who assumes 24-hour administrative responsibility for the management of all nursing service functions within medical/surgical/telemetry unit(s).</li>\n <li>Supervises, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care. </li>\n <li>Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current regulations. </li>\n <li>Assumes 24-hour accountability for the departments. </li>\n <li>Supervises and evaluates all personnel assigned to the unit and effectively utilizes nursing personnel, time responsibilities for the unit and is directly accountable to the CNO or Administrator. </li>\n <li>Consults and communicates with staff, physicians and administration both written and verbally on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. </li>\n <li>Assumes house supervisory responsibilities as assigned, including responding to codes throughout the hospital, assessing and charting, and following through with appropriate documentation. </li>\n <li>Oversees the provision of patient care for adolescent, adult and older adult patients.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current and valid state registered nurse license.</li>\n <li>Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.</li>\n <li>Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.</li>\n <li>Current Critical Care RN (CCRN) or Medical Surgical Certified (ANA) certificate(s) upon hire, preferred.</li>\n <li>A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.</li>\n <li>Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting preferred.</li>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all new hires after 1/11/2021.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-CC2</p>\n<h2>Employment Status</h2>Full Time\n<h2>Shift</h2>Days\n<h2>Equal Employment Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
