    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Lead Mainframe Sr. Systems Programmer -z/OS</span></strong></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Remote (DC Area Preferred)</strong></span></p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">US Citizenship required</span></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>We are seeking a versatile z/OS Senior Systems Programmer skilled in the z/OS operating system with 9+ years of experience. This position requires the ability to plan, install, configure, customize and maintain IBM z/OS operating system software and various other base and optional features including TSO/E, ISPF/PDF, JES2, SDSF, in a multi-LPAR, multi-site environment. Additional responsibilities may also include management, maintenance, and upgrade of various IBM program products and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) software. The Sr. Systems Programmer must also be able to provide on-call services after normal working hours to respond to issues or to implement configuration changes.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&bull; Installation and customization of IBM z/OS and associated major subsystems.</p><p>&bull; Installation and customization of IBM and non-IBM software products the run on the z/OS operating system.</p><p>&bull; Monitor the operating system using tools including BMC to improve performance and to diagnose and resolve problems.</p><p>&bull; Ensure customer satisfaction and provide follow-up support to various customer organizations</p><p>&bull; Respond to issues generated from the Helpdesk, Operations, and Applications staff</p><p>&bull; Participate in disaster recovery procedures.</p><p>&bull; Create and maintain system policies and user documentation.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>&bull; IBM z/OS 2.2 or above internal knowledge</p><p>&bull; Proficient with IBM z/OS installation tools to include SMP/E, z/OSMF, PDO, etc.</p><p>&bull; Experience in UNIX Systems Services under z/OS</p><p>&bull; Experience with hardware configuration tools (HCD, IODF)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Skills and Experience:</strong></p><p>&bull; Familiarity with z/OS Security product CA Top-secret.</p><p>&bull; Knowledge of other IBM products such as CICS and DB2.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Professional Skills and Experience</strong>:</p><p>&bull; Strong verbal and written communication skills</p><p>&bull; Strong customer support skills</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education</strong></p><p>&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a technical discipline or four years of additional experience</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Clearance</strong></p><p>&bull; Ability to apply for and maintain a public trust clearance.</p></div></div>\n",
