Assists with or provides personal care, e.g., shower, tub bath, bed bath, oral hygiene, shaving, shampooing, cleaning nails, assists to toilet, etc. as desired by a resident, directed by a specific resident’s written Plan of Care, and supervised by YoloCares’ clinical staff.&nbsp;</p><p>2. Provides homemaker services by cleaning&nbsp;the resident’s&nbsp;room, washing resident’s personal laundry,&nbsp;preparing&nbsp;and&nbsp;assisting&nbsp;with a resident’s meal, and other homemaking duties, when the&nbsp;resident’s&nbsp;Plan of Care directs.&nbsp;</p><p>3. Changes&nbsp;resident’s&nbsp;clothing and bed linen as requested.&nbsp;</p><p>4. Increases&nbsp;resident’s&nbsp;comfort and safety by prescribed rehabilitative measures such as positioning,&nbsp;ambulating&nbsp;and&nbsp;assistance&nbsp;with transfers. Uses basic adaptive equipment with debilitated patients when the Plan of Care&nbsp;requires.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>5. Performs routine procedures such as feeding non-compromised residents, making occupied and unoccupied beds, and cleaning&nbsp;resident’s&nbsp;equipment.&nbsp;</p><p>6.&nbsp;Demonstrates&nbsp;and teaches care techniques to volunteers and interns when&nbsp;appropriate.&nbsp;</p><p>7.&nbsp;Records&nbsp;vital signs when requested by the Plan of Care and/or as requested by clinical staff.&nbsp;</p><p>8. Follows universal infectious disease precautions when delivering all resident care (gloves, handwashing,&nbsp;etc).&nbsp;</p><p>9. Assists residents in taking self-administered oral OTC and prescription medications as directed by the clinical staff.&nbsp;</p><p>10. Encourages simple measures for&nbsp;resident’s&nbsp;bowel and bladder regularity.&nbsp;</p><p>11.&nbsp;Observes/monitors&nbsp;resident’s physical and emotional condition and reports changes to the Joshua’s House Manager and clinical staff&nbsp;in a timely manner.&nbsp;</p><p>12. In compliance with state and federal regulations and with YoloCares policies and procedures, documents all resident care, including observations of significant changes: reactions to care, symptoms&nbsp;observed, mental and physical status changes in the patient, and coping changes noted in residents.&nbsp;</p><p>13.&nbsp;Participates&nbsp;in all Joshua’s House team meetings, training sessions, and evaluation processes.&nbsp;</p><p>14.
