The Aiken, SC plant\nproduces approximately 1,000,000 miles of glass fiber reinforcement per day and\noperates on a 24/7/365 schedule. We are an agile, flexible, small-batch\nmanufacturer able to meet the diverse technical requirements of our global\nclient base. Our engineers and scientists have reinvented ultrafine glass fiber\nreinforcement manufacturing with proprietary, eco-friendly processes. Most\nnotably, many of our production processes qualify as zero carbon footprint\nactivities and the Aiken site has reduced its carbon footprint by 88% since\n2002.</p><!--EndFragment-->&nbsp;<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Job Description:</u></strong></p><p>&nbsp;As a Utility First Class, you will perform utilities maintenance and repair on equipment throughout the facility. You may also work on processes to improve efficiency.</p><ul><li>&nbsp;Performs duties assigned in the Utilities area.</li><li>&nbsp;Completes projects with little or no supervision.</li><li>&nbsp;Skilled in the use of all shop tools and equipment.</li><li>&nbsp;Performs HVAC, carpentry, painting, masonry, and boiler maintenance duties.</li><li>&nbsp;Installs, operates, repairs, overhauls, constructs &amp; modifies any utilities equipment as needed.</li><li>&nbsp;Performs preventive and predictive maintenance on utilities systems, buildings, &amp; grounds.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a clean work environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Any other duties as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Qualifications&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>HS Diploma/GED Technical Certificate preferred</li><li>Must have 5 years industrial utility maintenance experience or a degree in Industrial Maintenance and Advanced HVAC</li><li>One - two years&#39; experience with utility equipment such as boiler systems, HVAC, compressors, natural gas and propane systems, stem systems, sewage systems, plumbing systems, fire prevention systems, or other similar equipment systems</li><li>WorkKeys scores of at least: <strong>Workplace Observation (3), Workplace Documentation (3) Graphics Literacy (3) and Applied Technology (3)</strong></li><li>Must be able to push, pull, reach, bend, squat, twist, turn, climb, work overhead, wear required PPE, and work in a hot, confined environment</li><li>Be able to work various shifts and days of the week, including overtime.
