With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment.</p>\n<p><strong>Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) Qualifications:      </strong></p>\n<p><strong>                                                                                               </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must hold active CPR certification card</li>\n <li>Must have 1+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant (DA)</li>\n <li>Must have 1+ years Digital X-ray Imaging experience</li>\n <li>Valid driver license, reliable transportation and a willingness to travel locally is a must</li>\n <li>Works well with others (both children and adults)</li>\n <li>Ability to work well in fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task</li>\n <li>Must be able to carry up to 55 lbs.</li>\n <li>Able to walk several flights of stairs on occasion as many schools are without elevators</li>\n <li>Must Be X-Ray Certified</li>\n <li>Must Be Sealant Certified</li>\n <li>Coronal Polishing Certified</li>\n <li>Must Be Fluoride Certified</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics</li>\n <li>Digital X-ray Imaging</li>\n <li>Patient Records Charting</li>\n <li>Coronal Polishing</li>\n <li>Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance</li>\n <li>Travel Daily to and from school sites</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <strong>Help A Child Smile</strong><strong> Offers:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Evenings, weekends and summers off</li>\n <li>Working a school day schedule (about 6 – 7 hours); on average between 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.</li>\n <li>Benefit package (health, dental, vision)</li>\n <li>Unique work experience and flexible scheduling</li>\n <li>Full and part time positions</li>\n <li>Competitive daily base pay</li>\n <li>State-of-the-art portable dental equipment</li>\n <li>Latest technology & digital radiography</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Want to learn more? <strong>Call or text Venice at 855-957-4375 or email [email protected]</strong></p>\n<p><strong>(If texting/emailing, please include your name, contact information and the location of this position.)</strong></p>\n<h2>Who We Are</h2>\n<p>Help A Child Smile is Georgia’s leading at school dental program meeting the tremendous need among underserved school aged children who do not have easy access to dental care and who often suffer from poor oral hygiene, tooth decay, pain and associated health problems. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Help A Child Smile is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
