          "text": "<ul><li>Responsible for the management of technology infrastructure, the support and development of existing business systems and the delivery and deployment of new systems, technologies and services. It comprises business aligned teams which provide dedicated and specialist services to businesses as well as central teams which provide shared services, such as infrastructure, to multiple businesses. </li></ul><ul><li>The Application Architect position is the top-level applications development contributor, consultant, and advisor with broad, comprehensive technology knowledge and experience with high volume complex database and reporting systems. This person is seen as the go-to person and as the subject matter expert.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Technical expertise cover application architecture, database architecture, data warehousing, testing processes and procedures, quality assurance, advanced application programming, development lifecycle, application and technical security methodologies and high availability design.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Extensive understanding of the Financial Services technology can be best leveraged. Specific knowledge of Buy-Side processing including analytical and quantitative modeling, Order management systems and trade flow, trade match and settlement processing, mutual fund processing, commission calculation, pre and post trade compliance, and client reporting. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication skills, superior analytical, design, and application architecture experience, extensive knowledge of the Fund Institutional and Managed accounts business in relation to solving highly complex business and technical issues. </li></ul><ul style=\"\"><li>Actively seek to understand end-to-end business flows while continually striving for system optimization&nbsp;</li><li> Evaluate current state and recommend/plan out future state of business systems </li><li> Actively research, evaluate and champion solutions that will drive competitive advantage and reduce total cost of ownership </li><li> Development of application technology roadmap in association with overarching Global roadmap </li><li> Implement decision framework and governance for future product selection (Buy-Sell-Hold) </li><li> Mentor associates in specific technologies, reviewing the work of others and communicate effectively improvements&nbsp;</li><li> Architectural Framework </li></ul><ul><li>Participate and contribute to establishment of architectural framework for Businesses including key elements of framework: </li></ul><ol><li> Business Architectur</li><li>Application Architecture</li><li>Data Architecture</li><li>Infrastructure Services Architecture</li><li>Security </li><li>Support/Maintenance </li><li>Availability/Failover/Disaster Recovery </li><li>Governance&nbsp;</li></ol><ul style=\"\"><li>Participate in and contribute to the establishment of architectural governance across business.
