Responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location</strong>: Balfour @ Littleton | 8160 W Coal Mine Ave, Littleton, CO 80123</p>\n<p><strong>Department</strong>: Assisted Living & Memory Care</p>\n<p><strong>Shifts</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-Time | 7 AM to 7:30 PM | 3x12s; 1 weekend day <strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Part-Time | 7 AM to 7:30 PM | 1-2 shifts; 1 weekend day <strong>required</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong>: $36-$42/hour (depending on experience)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What will I do every day?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in condition to the appropriate associate/department immediately</li>\n <li>Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find an appropriate associate to assist</li>\n <li>Learn resident preferences for opportunities to provide exemplary customer service, exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction</li>\n <li>Assesses residents to identify their physical, psychosocial and environmental needs of</li>\n <li>Follows all environmental and safety guidelines/standards per company policy and procedure</li>\n <li>Identifies and recommends other disciplines needed for quality care of the resident</li>\n <li>Documents evaluation of nursing interventions including resident response</li>\n <li>Assesses resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen and/or medication administration and assist with care plans</li>\n <li>Provides resident care activities under the direction of the Care Services Director or Director of Nursing using current nursing standards</li>\n <li>Assists with Medication Management Program</li>\n <li>Present required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates and maintain appropriate documentation</li>\n <li>Supports ongoing associate and peer recognition and appreciation</li>\n <li>Support open and honest communication with and between all associates</li>\n <li>Work as part of the team within your department and across the community</li>\n <li>Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working</li>\n <li>Look for ways to reduce costs and create efficiencies on a daily basis</li>\n <li>Ensure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns immediately</li>\n <li>Adhere to all regulations, laws and Kisco standards, including the Associate Handbook</li>\n <li>Support continuous improvement</li>\n <li>Understand and support the community sales process</li>\n <li>Perform other related duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What will I need to be successful in this role?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited LPN program</li>\n <li>One-year or more experience as a nurse in a senior care setting preferred</li>\n <li>Assisted living and/or dementia experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice</li>\n <li>Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What’s in it for me?
