    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>THE ROLE  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Great Dane, we rely on makers and we’re calling on them to join our expanding team, the time has never been better to Embrace Your Great and work in an environment with the highest safety standards in the industry.    </p>\n<p>A Parts Associate performs multiple tasks related to branch retail trailer parts and accessory sales, inventory management, shipping & receiving, and internal coordination with our service teams.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Initiate parts and accessory sales to branch customers via phone and in person.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Ordering of parts, posting of parts to service orders, pulling of customer’s orders, price estimates and assisting with part cycle counts.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Read and understand job orders ensuring corrective action and the documentation of parts ordering & delivery processes to company standards.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Safe driving of company vehicles.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Provide excellent customer service to communicate with customers and vendors and effectively resolve issues.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Other duties as assigned.   </p></li>\n</ul> \n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Customer Focus - Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.   </p></li>\n <li><p>Drive for Results:  Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully; is constantly and consistently one of the top performers; very bottom-line oriented; steadfastly pushes self and others for results.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Integrity & Trust:  Is widely trusted; is seen as a direct, truthful individual; can present the unvarnished truth in an appropriate and helpful manner; keeps confidences; admits mistakes; doesn’t misrepresent him/herself for personal gain.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Functional Technical Skills -Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment. </p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work with hands to perform data entry, organization of inventory, use of power tools and driving of company vehicle/and or forklifts.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent customer service and communication skills.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Proficient with computers, data entry and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). </p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to assist with installs of the following parts: cross members, panels, posts, rails, door equipment, flooring, lights, wiring, brakes, valves, airlines, wheel end components, landing gear, frame assembly, and other parts; requiring the ability to lift up to 50Ibs.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Valid Driver’s License.  </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>A favorable background screening, Physical & Drug Screening, and proof of work authorization in the United States is required for employment.  </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:  </strong></p>\n<p>   </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Office and plant environment.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Keyboarding, lifting, standing, bending, walking.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  </p></li>\n <li><p>Physical demands: While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
