This hands-on role interacts directly with patients and families, making an impact on their recovery.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of evaluations, the planning and organizing of therapeutic interventions</li>\n <li>Make necessary contacts with community resources to ensure continuity of patient care.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Provides patients and/or family with education and/or resources for use after discharge.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Conduct individual and/or group sessions for patients as indicated in the patient treatment plan&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Facilitates community reintegration outings in accordance with policies and procedures for 1:1 and/or group outings.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Facilitates cooking tasks in accordance with policies and procedures for 1:1 and/or group session&nbsp;</li>\n <li>May perform other duties as assigned by program coordinator&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintains confidentiality of all patient information.</li>\n <li>Adheres to policies and procedures specific to patient rights.</li>\n <li>Maintains a clean and safe environment; identifies and reports hazards.</li>\n <li>Meets all requirements for mandatory in-services.</li>\n <li>Adheres to policies/procedures specific to universal precautions when delivering patient care.</li>\n <li>Adheres to policies regarding attendance, conduct, grooming, and dress code.</li>\n <li>Exhibits excellent service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.</li>\n <li>Shows courtesy, compassion and respect for all customers.</li>\n <li>Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.</li>\n <li>Complies with professional, regulatory, ethical, and legal standards.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy from an accredited University. Must be nationally certified (CTRS) by NCTRC&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Up to date Recreational Therapy License</li>\n <li>Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Currently certified in CPR and First Aid.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>1-2 years of experience working with individuals with physical deficits.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Hours: PRN, as needed</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location: Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital at 3599 University Blvd South, Jacksonville, FL 32216</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
