You will have an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to electrical design pertaining to Electrical Switchgear.&nbsp;\n  </div>\n  <div style=\"margin:1em 0px\">\n   <strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong>&nbsp;\n  </div>\n  <div style=\"margin:1em 0px\">\n   Reporting to the Electrical Design Manager, this position presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional pertaining to design and controls engineering functions of power distribution equipment.\n  </div>\n  <ul>\n   <li>\n    <div style=\"margin:1em 0px\">\n     Develop and assemble electrical drawing packages to be reviewed by electrical design engineering team.&nbsp;\n    </div></li>\n   <li>Prepare detailed electrical schematics, single line diagrams and communications network drawings in compliance with customer drawing packages, specifications and pre-established budget.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Preparation of electrical bill&nbsp;of materials.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Collaborate with mechanical and automation design teams along with project management to identify and resolve issues as well as ensuring the successful completion of projects.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Contribute to the development of new practices and processes within design team and assist in implementation of these to improve department performance.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Develop knowledge of NEC and UL standards to ensure products are designed to comply with all relevant regulations.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Work with the project management team to ensure all project timelines and goals are met or exceeded on multiple projects at any given time.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Development of control wiring for automatic transfer controllers, breaker interlocking, PLC equipment and power quality monitoring systems.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Creation of test scripts to prove out functionality of control schemes.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Assist in training/mentoring&nbsp;newer team members.&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n  <div style=\"margin:1em 0px\">\n   <strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong>&nbsp;\n  </div>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience OR Associate’s Degree &nbsp;and 4 years of experience in a related role.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Aptitude for problem solving and ability to apply this to electrical control design.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Capable of taking individual ownership of projects and work in a team environment as necessary.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain latest revisions of design drawings.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>An adaptability to respond to a fast-moving business environment.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Accuracy and attention to detail.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Display a proactive flexible approach to working within a team environment.&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n  <div style=\"margin:1em 0px\">\n   <i><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></i>&nbsp;\n  </div>\n  <ul>\n   <li>3 plus years of experience in designing electrical and control wiring packages.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Knowledge of low voltage switchgear and basic understanding of manufacturing processes.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Proven experience in a related position / comparable role involving exposure to design software like AutoCAD, SEE Electrical, etc.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Proven understanding of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standards including but not limited to UL 1558, UL 891, UL 489 &amp;
