    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>HazTek is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Specialist to support a large-scale pharmaceutical construction project in Rahway, NJ. This is a hands-on field role focused on ensuring safe work practices across active construction operations within an occupied industrial environment.</p>\n<p>The Construction Safety Specialist will spend the majority of their time in the field, conducting site observations, engaging with craft workers and subcontractors, identifying hazards, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the project.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct daily site inspections and safety observations</li>\n <li>Monitor contractor compliance with site safety requirements</li>\n <li>Support incident prevention through proactive hazard identification and mitigation</li>\n <li>Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and project planning activities</li>\n <li>Review high-risk work activities including fall protection, hot work, and electrical work</li>\n <li>Document observations, corrective actions, and safety performance metrics</li>\n <li>Partner with project management and trade partners to ensure a safe work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of construction safety experience</li>\n <li>Experience supporting commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing construction projects preferred</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of fall protection, hot work, electrical safety, and general construction safety practices</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills</li>\n <li>OSHA 30 required; additional safety certifications preferred</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of construction safety standards</li>\n <li>Must have experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation</li>\n <li><p>Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, Accountability</p><p> </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>HazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
