A Lead Veterinary Surgeon will guide our team of vets, ensuring that high standards of clinical care are met through coaching and mentoring. You will be jointly responsible for embedding the Animal Trust Values, creating a caring and nurturing working environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: #374151\">Working closely with our Practice Manager and Lead Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the clinic. Your responsibilities will extend to evaluating clinic KPIs and P&amp;L, ensuring optimal performance and the continued success of the hospital</span>.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Shrewsbury Hospital is a 24-hour facility committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. With dedicated staff managing both incoming cases and inpatients, we offer two theatre suites (one for advanced surgeries), a dental suite, and separate wards for dogs and cats, highlighting our commitment to feline-friendly care. Our practice includes five consulting rooms to accommodate a diverse caseload, including soft tissue and orthopaedic cases. We are a Community Interest Company, non-profit organisation, which means we reinvest the majority of our profits into our team and our patients' care. </span></p>\n<p><span>Our free consultations and transparent pricing enable our vets and nurses to break down the barriers that stand in the way of pets receiving the treatment they need</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">About You:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clinical Expertise:</span> Possess a strong clinical skillset with a passion for coaching and mentoring.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Communication Skills:</span> Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both with clients and the veterinary team.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">VetGDP Qualification:</span> Hold or be eager to obtain a VetGDP qualification.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Business Acumen:</span> While preferred, it's not essential.
