Other specialties include spine and scoliosis care, plastic surgery, cleft lip and palate care, comprehensive rehabilitation and spinal cord injuries.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p>The Team Leader assists with clinical supervision of patient care and job performance supervision of all employees on an assigned shift. Plans, coordinates and provides for optimum patient care on the unit. Performs professional nursing services for patients with a variety of needs utilizing the nursing process and within the scope, ethics, and standards of practice as defined by the American Nurses Association.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Hours:  Our OR team enjoys a quality work-life balance schedule with minimal to no weekend and holiday call.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The pay range for this position is $40.71/hour - $61.06/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides effective departmental leadership through skilled communication, collaboration, effective decision making, and meaningful recognition with team members, other departments, and management.</li>\n <li><p>Assists with clinical supervision of patient care and job performance supervision of all employees on an assigned shift. </p></li>\n <li><p>Manages and coordinates resources needed for unit census, activity, and staff, in accordance with regulatory standards and SHC policy. </p></li>\n <li><p>Maintains all standards and competencies of the Staff Nurse position. </p></li>\n <li>Collaborates with the Nurse Director and other members of leadership in managing the department budget, the delivery of care, quality and performance objectives, and personnel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BSN degree or in progress</li>\n <li>RN in state of Illinois</li>\n <li>BLS & PALS</li>\n <li>Two years of Surgical RN experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One year of leadership experience</li>\n <li>Scrubbing experience</li>\n <li>CNOR certified</li>\n</ul>",
