Our cloud-based accounting software transforms the finance function, making it easier for multi-entity businesses to capture, process, and report their financial data with ease and efficiency.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<p>This is a newly created QA Engineer role reporting to the Director of Engineering, driven by the continued growth of our engineering function. You will join an international team building and maintaining high-quality SaaS products across web applications and backend services. Working within cross-functional product squads in an Agile/Scrum environment, you will ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. Automation and repeatability will be core to your work, with shared ownership of the quality of every software increment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll be doing:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defining and executing testing scenarios across the full software development lifecycle</li>\n<li>Building, maintaining, and improving automated UI tests using Playwright</li>\n<li>Working closely with developers to clarify requirements and validate solutions</li>\n<li>Performing and automating functional, regression, and acceptance testing</li>\n<li>Tracking and reporting on quality metrics and investigating critical production issues</li>\n<li>Promoting a strong quality-first culture and mentoring junior QA team members</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll need:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years’ experience in a QA or test automation role</li>\n<li>Experience authoring and maintaining automated tests in Playwright with a code-first approach</li>\n<li>Experience working in Agile or Lean development environments</li>\n<li>A solid understanding of test automation principles and quality best practices</li>\n<li>Basic SQL knowledge and the ability to understand and work with C# code</li>\n<li>Experience with at least one scripting language</li>\n<li>ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is a plus</li>\n<li>You’re curious about new technologies and enjoy thoughtfully applying them to improve existing systems</li>\n<li>Experience working on a SaaS product is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What's the hiring process?</span><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li>An initial call with our People team to discuss your application. <br></li>\n<li>A one-way video interview, structured and reviewed manually by the hiring manager. </li>\n<li>A technical interview with the hiring team, consisting of a live coding exercise. </li>\n<li>A final interview with our CTO. </li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why work with us?</span></p>\n<p>AIQ Group is a multi-product SaaS business, bringing together ExpenseIn and AccountsIQ, and recently ranked #477 in the Financial Times FT1000 list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies in 2026.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As a forward-thinking and collaborative organisation, we combine drive, energy and ambition with a supportive, down-to-earth culture that enables people to do their best work.
