Qualified candidates will have 10+ years&rsquo; accounting experience.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong><br>The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the company&rsquo;s accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. This position is essential to maintaining the organization&rsquo;s financial health and providing leadership with accurate, timely financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial functions in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.</p><p>This is a fully in-office position. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist in overseeing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyze on a timely basis</li><li>Assist with developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations</li><li>Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and cost controls</li><li>Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors</li><li>Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies</li><li>Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership</li><li>Manage and mentor accounting staff</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to support operational efficiency and growth</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting (CPA preferred)</li><li>10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles</li><li>Experience in a mid-sized or family-owned business environment is a plus</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li><li>High level of integrity and attention to detail</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, general ledger, financial statement preparation and analysis, W/P, taxes and month-end closings.
