    "description": "<p><strong><u>POSITON SUMMARY:</u></strong></p>\n\n<p>The&#160;Intake Therapist&#160;provides&#160;a wide range of services including assessment, crisis interventions, making necessary referrals, and obtaining authorizations for services to children, youth, families, and adult clients of Starfish Family Services. Team members&#160;in this position function with a great deal of professional autonomy under the supervision of the Program Supervisor</p>\n\n<p>&#160;</p>\n\n<p><strong><u>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</u></strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Master&#8217;s degree in psychology, social work or a related human services field required.</li>\n\t<li>Current valid professional license/certification in the State of Michigan. Full Licensure is required.</li>\n\t<li>At least two (2) years previous related experience required.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>&#160;</p>\n\n<p><strong><u>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Provide assessments and referral services to children, youth, families and adult clients of Starfish Family Services.</li>\n\t<li>Provide support and crisis intervention to children, youth, families and adults.</li>\n\t<li>Assist in coordination and referrals of support services to parents.</li>\n\t<li>Provide individual, group and family treatment to assigned clients.</li>\n\t<li>Maintain weekly productivity expectations as determined by supervisor.</li>\n\t<li>Maintain clinical charts in an accurate and timely manner to include, but not limited to assessments and all other MDCH chart requirements.</li>\n\t<li>Make intra-agency referrals for evaluations, consultation, and other services, e.g. parent education.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>&#160;</p>\n\n<p><strong><u>LICENSING AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong>&#160;</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Valid driver&#8217;s license and / or reliable transportation.&#160;&#160;</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">&#160;</p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">&#160;</p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>Starfish Family Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer&#160;</strong></p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>EOE/M/F/D/V</strong></p>",
