    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">PLEASE NOTE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN ITS ENTIRETY FOR FURTHER\nCONSIDERATION OF THIS POSITION - THIS INCLUDES THE EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION\nPROFILES AFTER CLICKING SUBMIT</span></p><p>The Physicians&rsquo; Clinic of Iowa Central Business Office is seeking a full-time Patient Financial Representative to support our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare through outstanding patient financial services.&nbsp;</p><p>Primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Provide financial counseling and follow-up on account balances.&nbsp;</li><li>Patient collections and setting up payment plans.</li><li>Work with Patient Responsibility Pricer software to obtain procedure pre-payments.</li><li>Answer patient account billing questions both by telephone and face to face.</li><li>Reviewing upcoming appointment schedule for patient balances and counsel patients as needed.</li><li>Monitor accounts receivable working in conjunction with the billing office; maintain assigned accounts within acceptable aging limits.</li><li>Maintaining a working knowledge of third-party payment procedures.</li><li>Establishing payment plans according to Clinic Financial Policy.</li><li>Contacting patients not meeting payment guidelines and resolving issues.</li><li>Preparing accounts for turn over to an outside collection agency.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify drug assistance programs patients may qualify for (when applicable).</li><li>Assisting patients as needed with completing Statement of Financial Consideration.</li><li>Maintaining an organized documentation of the work on patient accounts.&nbsp;</li><li>Researching and maintaining a working knowledge of patient financial assistance programs and assisting patient with application for funding.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Previous experience with medical insurance billing and accounts collection.</li><li>Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.</li><li>Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.</li><li>Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.</li></ul><p>Why Join PCI?</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.</li><li>No nights or weekends.</li><li>Paid holidays and a generous paid time off program.</li><li>Supportive, team-oriented work environment focused on quality and compassion in patient care.</li></ul><p>PCI is E.O.E.
