This role will serve as a key partner to clients and project teams by guiding compliance strategy, managing environmental commitments, and ensuring successful implementation of permit conditions throughout the project lifecycle.</p>\n<p>You will lead compliance efforts for projects including utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), transmission and linear infrastructure, and other renewable energy developments, coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies. This position combines project management, client engagement, and technical leadership to help projects move forward efficiently while maintaining regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.</p>\n<p>This position will primarily be office based. There will be opportunities for field work and travel, but the majority of the work will be completed in Dudek’s office or working from a home office. Hybrid candidates near one of our California offices preferred.</p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote a culture of teamwork, engagement, quality service, and customer satisfaction to our clients.</li>\n <li>Foster client connections through existing client relationships and proactive business development in the candidate’s areas of strength and interest, working with others to anticipate and pursue work</li>\n <li>Enhance Dudek’s professional reputation and demonstrate the ability to be creative and innovative with these tasks while representing Dudek in a professional manner</li>\n <li>Work closely with other Dudek Project Managers to promote our business interests in adherence with the company’s mission, vision, and values</li>\n <li>Lead the preparation, organization, and production of environmental compliance management plans, permit applications, and other environmental documents to guide compliance implementation during the project lifecycle.</li>\n <li>Work with project team members to track environmental commitments to support the implementation of permit conditions on a variety of projects.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with client, field personnel, and environmental resource specialists to ensure permit conditions are implemented during construction.</li>\n <li>Prepare bid documents and proposals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, or other related field.</li>\n <li>A minimum of at least 12 years of combined experience leading teams in complex project due-diligence, large infrastructure project management, preparing permitting and environmental documents, managing, and supervising staff, and overseeing technical quality.</li>\n <li>Must demonstrate strong technical writing and research skills as well as solid written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Must be proficient in MS Office, in particular Word and Excel.</li>\n <li>Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with an interest to learn and grow as a project team.</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced degree in environmental science, planning, or related field</li>\n <li>Experience working within an environmental consulting firm or AEC consulting environment</li>\n <li>Familiarity with California energy market or utility client programs</li>\n <li>Experience supporting large, multi-disciplinary project teams across multiple offices or regions</li>\n <li>Demonstrated involvement in internal initiatives such as process improvement, mentoring programs, or practice development</li>\n <li>Existing client relationships within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> $110,000-$150,000 annually* </p>\n<p>*Final agreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check prior to beginning employment. </p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>This job requires occasional project site visits, based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, and moving vehicles and equipment. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements </strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
