    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">PreK Teacher, Level 1</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\"><strong>Summary Purpose for the Position:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Consult with the Early Childhood Education Coordinator in the development, planning and execution of the daily educational classroom activities in accordance with PA Early Learning Standards and the PathStone Plan of Action to meet the needs of the individual child.</span>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\"><strong>Requirements (Education, Experience, Certification, Knowledge, Skill):</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Bachelor or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Child and Family Development Studies or Special Education and 2 years experience working with children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.</span>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">ECE PA State Certification.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Bilingual preferred (English/language of majority of families in program).&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Must have current physical exam, mantoux tuberculosis screening, and clearances.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\"><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Plan and maintain, working with the Assistant Teacher, a developmentally appropriate, safe, and healthy classroom environment for the age group of children to which they are assigned in accordance with the Pre-K Counts Regulations and the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale (ECERS).</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Maintain interaction with children throughout the day.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Complete child Work Sampling data and prepare required reports.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Complete reports, required forms, and documentation within mandated timelines.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Maintain and update children&rsquo;s records.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Notify supervisor immediately of any accidents/incidents relating to children, parents, or staff.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Attend all mandated trainings and meetings.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);\">Conduct 2 home visits and 2 parent/teacher conferences during the program year. Review assessment and outcome data with parents.
