This position plays a critical role in supporting safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations across all production areas and utility systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on manufacturing and facility support equipment.</li>\n <li>Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and improve operational reliability.</li>\n <li>Diagnose equipment failures using electrical schematics, manuals, meters, and diagnostic tools.</li>\n <li>Install, replace, and repair motors, drives, sensors, relays, switches, control components, and other industrial electrical equipment.</li>\n <li>Support production equipment including:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>NRM foam extruders</li>\n  <li>Irwin Thermoformers</li>\n  <li>Rennco packaging equipment</li>\n  <li>Waldrop Padders</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Maintain and repair facility support equipment including air compressors, pumps, hydraulic systems, cooling tower water systems, and other plant utilities.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and perform basic programming modifications when required.</li>\n <li>Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety standards.</li>\n <li>Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.</li>\n <li>Work closely with production personnel to resolve equipment issues and improve machine reliability.</li>\n <li>Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate repair documentation.</li>\n <li>Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>\n <li>Maintain housekeeping and organization standards in maintenance and production areas.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of three years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills.</li>\n <li>Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and industrial control systems preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with extrusion and thermoforming equipment is a plus.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, moving equipment, and industrial chemicals.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of industrial automation systems.</li>\n <li>Welding and fabrication experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience using CMMS maintenance systems preferred.</li>\n <li>Understanding of OSHA and NFPA electrical safety standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Work Environment and Conditions</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Indoor industrial manufacturing environment with elevated temperatures and humidity during summer months.</li>\n <li>Hearing protection is required on the production floor due to machinery noise levels.</li>\n <li>ASTM F2413-05 compliant safety footwear (steel toe or equivalent) must be worn at all times.</li>\n <li>Required PPE includes bump caps, hair nets, beard nets, and other safety equipment as required.</li>\n <li>Hair and facial hair grooming must comply with food safety standards for proper use of hair and beard nets.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical Demands</p>\n<p>The employee must be able to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, twist, climb stairs and ladders, and use both hands continuously throughout the shift.</li>\n <li>Push or pull up to 30–50 pounds.</li>\n <li>Frequently kneel, crawl, bend, climb stairs, carry up to 30 pounds, and perform high and low reaching activities.</li>\n <li>Repeatedly use wrists, hands, fingers, shoulders, elbows, hips, ankles, head, and neck throughout the workday.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDFGR</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
