    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">General Job Scope </span></p>\n<p>The CDL (Class A) Logistics Truck Driver (Tractor &amp; Straight Truck &amp; Boom Truck) is responsible for <br>operating a 48’ tractor-trailer truck and a 22’ straight truck that transports fabricated ductwork, pipe, <br>construction materials, tools, and HVAC equipment to and from construction sites.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: </span><br>• Actively promote and enforce THG Safety Program, policies and procedures, including the goals <br>of a Zero Injury Program  <br>• Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods <br>to ensure timely service. <br>• Loads, secures and unloads cargo. <br>• Maintains cellular and email contact with dispatch to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to <br>receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up.  <br>• Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. <br>• Responsible for light vehicle maintenance, daily inspection, and presentation. <br>• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. <br>• Must display proven ability to operate both tandem axle tractors with 48’ trailers as well as 22’ <br>straight trucks <br>• In order to operate Knuckle Boom, must display an active NCCCO &amp; City of Chicago Knuckle <br>Boom Operators license  <br>• Spot Trailers within campus <br>• Aid in pulling Tool Orders (If required) <br>• Aid in maintaining a clean &amp; organized warehouse (If required) <br>• All other duties as assigned <br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience: </span><br>• Minimum (5) years CDL experience required <br>• Knowledge of DOT Rules &amp; Regulations <br>• Proficiency with cellular &amp; GPS devices </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Qualifications: </span><br>• Requires an ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure <br>• Requires a great attention to detail, accuracy and an ability to prioritize and multi-task <br>• Must be dependable, organized and self-motivated <br>• Communication with multiple divisions of the company <br>• Ability to react to changes, flexibility, while maintaining efficiency </p>\n<p> </p>",
