    "description": "<p>RAMC is looking for our next Ophthalmology Assistant, CMA, or LPN to join our team! </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>No Experience is needed! </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em>This is a Per Diem position</em></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><br></span></p>\n<p>Monday - Friday 7:30A- 5:00P Times could vary</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you'll do:</span></span></p>\n<p>The Ophthalmic Assistant performs various functions and procedures related to the delivery of care to ambulatory patient populations under the supervision of the Ophthalmologist. </p>\n<p><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Training Required:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>HS Diploma or equivalent</li>\n<li>BLS certified</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed an accredited ophthalmic/optometric, CMA, or LPN program</li>\n<li>Certified Ophthalmic Assistant, LPN or CMA</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 Months of experience in an Ophthalmic Office Setting preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Physical Requirements:</span> <br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frequently sits while performing the tasks of the role (scheduling, developing &amp; reviewing protocols/procedures, job descriptions, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Occasionally walk and stand.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds while transferring and positioning patients and maneuvering equipment while using gait belts, transfer devices, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Occasionally bend to the floor, squat, kneel, crouch and reach overhead to assist with patient care or retrieve equipment or supplies.</li>\n<li>Occasionally handle objects, smell, feel, control knobs, switches and levers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sight:</span> <br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Occasionally use sight capacities, including spatial, peripheral, colors &amp; accommodation &amp; depth perception.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Frequently use near and far vision while reviewing patient records, computer screens, charts, gauges on patient equipment, monitors, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br><br></p>",
