We move fast, with precision, and always execute with privacy at the forefront.</p><p></p><p><span>We are looking for a Security Engineer  to join our Enterprise Infrastructure Security (EIS) team!</span></p><p></p><p>What you’ll do:</p><ul><li><p><span>Design, implement, and operate security controls that protect our corporate devices, applications, and infrastructure, including execution control, device trust, and network segmentation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build and understand threat models which pose an imminent threat to our platform and business.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Design, pilot, and implement logging and alerting systems to detect malicious activity on Snap Inc.&#39;s endpoints, infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Conduct security reviews for new features and technologies, including the secure enablement of AI tools and features.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner with IT and other engineering teams to architect and manage identity and access management (IAM) and SSO integrations.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</p><ul><li><p><span>Knowledge of operating system internals, with core competency in two or more of the following: macOS, Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proven experience in one or more security areas: digital forensics, malware analysis, incident management, host/network intrusion detection, or endpoint security.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong development skills in Python and/or Go.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to conduct design reviews and provide actionable mitigation guidance to reduce risk.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail and a record of collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Minimum Qualifications:<span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent years of experience in a related technical field</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>1 year of experience in corporate or enterprise security</p></li><li><p><span>Background evaluating and securely enabling emerging technologies, including AI tools and features, with a focus on upholding access control boundaries and data protection requirements</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with securing lab, IoT, and ancillary systems, including applying hardening standards, monitoring, and access controls across heterogeneous environments</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company</span></p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><span>If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some </span><a href=\"https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScV7t31iR3yYR9ztGDHJpbvL63svWpb6s0afkBkLEjGnDx4Kg/viewform\" target=\"_blank\"><u>information</u></a>.</p><p></p><p><span>&#34;Default Together&#34; Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration.
