That is why we are dedicated to protecting and caring for vision every day.</em></align-center><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Eye Care Professional is responsible for interacting with customers on a daily basis to uncover needs for the patient’s lifestyle and recommend specialized products based on those needs as well as assist patients in frame selection this includes taking measurements, fit, and adjust glasses, troubleshoot patient’s vision complaints, and teach customers how to properly wear and care for their eyeglasses and contact lenses. Travel between clinic locations and/or overtime may be required based on operational needs.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Obtain patient’s prescription from ophthalmologist or optometrist</li><li>Gather patient’s information including vision and medical insurance information</li><li>Schedule, confirm and maintain appointments&nbsp;</li><li>Recommend frames, lenses and products that are suitable for the patient’s style, face and specifications</li><li>Adjust and fit frames according to the prescription and patient’s specifications, as well as to the patient’s face.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare and submit the order to the proper lab for manufacturing</li><li>Be able to use equipment such as lensometer, auto refractor, pupilometer, calipers and hand tools</li><li>Assist with frame inventory, contact lens inventory, marketing materials and office supplies</li><li>Teaching patients how to wear and care for both contact lenses and eyeglasses</li><li>Repairing or replacing broken frames</li><li>Administrative duties such as filing, following up on orders, following up with patients, answering phones, assisting the doctor with special orders and referrals</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Matching 401(k) plan</li><li>Paid Time Off&nbsp;</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Certification reimbursement</li><li>Career growth opportunities</li></ul><p><strong>About Sight360</strong></p><p>We’ve assembled highly capable and credentialed multidisciplinary teams across ophthalmology, optometry, and optical retail services to deliver a comprehensive, 360-degree approach to vision care.
