Our goal is to keep the process straightforward.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Description</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Japanese Linguistic Specialist is a language specialist that will assist in translating project related documents, communication, and actual in-game texts by localizing products and/or workflows specific to our customers in Japan. You will act as a bridge that connects Streamline Media Group with the Japan market. Using your professional English and Japanese languages abilities, you will be responsible for providing support to make Streamline’s products (services and games) appealing to the Japanese market.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Conduct translation, proofreading, editing of in-game contents from English to Japanese</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Implement the translated text into game &amp; perform LQA including bug reports, language errors report and making improvement suggestions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Marketing contents translation and localization (e.g. commercial videos, social media contents, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Other document translation that related with internal projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Interpreting (EN &lt;&gt;JA) weekly online meetings with Japanese clients</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Qualifications</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">JLPT N1 or Native Japanese level required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Business or above level in English (TOEIC 800+ preferred).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">3+ years of working experience as English &lt;&gt; Japanese translator and/ or proof-reader in any industry.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Additional Skills (preferred)</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Work experience in game development or operation, especially LQA</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">2 + years work experience as EN&lt;&gt;JA translator/interpreter in video game or entertainment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">In-depth knowledge in LQA related software and tools</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">UI/UX localization knowledges</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Work experience with CAT tools (Trados, Memo Q, Memsource, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Work experience in Japan or Japanese companies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Fluency in other languages in writing and reading</span></li>\n</ul>",
